当社プロジェクトが地元誌に掲載されました

地元シアトルのデイリージャーナルオブコマース誌に、
当社のEB-5投資永住権プログラム対象の投資プロジェクト（255LP）
建設工事の進捗記事が掲載されました。

255LPはシアトルダウンタウンの南方、アメリカンフットボールスタジアム
（Link Field）の目の前に、23階建てのシアトルヒルトンエンバシースイーツ
ホテル（フェーズ１）と13回建てのオフィスタワー（フェーズ２）を建設し、
運営していく人気のEB-5プロジェクトです。

紙面では、建物の完成を来年に控え、ホテル棟外装工事に使用していた
超高層大型クレーンの解体の様子と
23階（全282室）のホテル棟のうち、16階部分の内装工事が進行中である旨
伝えています。

現在ご参加頂けるプロジェクトでもあるオフィスタワー（フェーズ２）に
ついても、同じく来年年末頃の完成に向け、順調に工事が進んでおります。
紙面にもありますように、当該オフィスタワーにおいては既に
大型テナントとのリース契約も決まっており、
先日定員に達したためご案内を終了させて頂いている
エンバシースイーツホテル（フェーズ１）のグランドオープンと共に、
来年の完成が大変楽しみなプロジェクトです。

なお、今夏よりご案内を開始させて頂いている当該フェーズ２の
ご案内定数は140枠を予定しており、現在の残枠はおかげ様で既に
100枠を切りました。

One tower crane comes down at American Life north lot project

Crews have dismantled the tower crane building the 23-floor hotel for American Life in the former

parking lot north of CenturyLink Field, at 255 S. King St. in Seattle.
With the crane out of the way, Sodo Builders can now close up that part of the building and begin

filling in the ground section.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel will have 282 rooms and 26,777 square feet of restaurant space.

It will connect by a lofty atrium to a conference center, and a health club with a pool. Retail space

will be on the street level lobby.
Sodo Builders has another tower crane at work on the other building of the development: an 18-story

office tower containing 186,684 square feet of space called Avalara Hawk Tower. American Life inked

a deal over the summer with software company Avalara for most of the space.
The two towers will share a seven-floor podium and parking for 343 cars. Both buildings are scheduled

to finish next year: the hotel in the third quarter and the office in the fourth.
According to the project's website, crews this week are working on level 16 of the office tower and are

preparing finishes for the guest rooms in the hotel.
Freiheit & Ho Architects is the designer. Sodo Builders is the construction division of American Life.
Morrow is supplying the tower cranes and Ness is providing mobile cranes.

2016年12月9日までの暫定延長が決まりました

2016年9月30日に法期限を迎えたEB-5 Regional Center Program（リージョナルセンタープログラム）でしたが、

ひとまず同年12月9日までの暫定延長が決まりました。

当該プログラムは昨今、参加者の急激な増加や移民局の基準を満たさない詐欺まがいの

投資物件を提供するリージョナルセンターなどの横行により、

参加費用（現行50万ドル+諸費用）の大幅な引き上げ、並びに参加基準や対象投資プロジェクトの

基準の厳格化を目的とした大幅な法改正の可能性が濃厚と考えられています。

今回延長期間が2か月と短期間であるのも、そういった法改正に向けた動きと捉えるのが妥当です。

12月9日までの2か月間は、これまで幾度となく囁かれて来た大幅な法改正の前に与えられた

事実上最後のチャンスとなりそうです。
